We absolutely love "Arista". Take Notice this Girl is and will be a great Texas Longhorn Dam. She has broke some horn on the right side but that ain't gonna stop her production ----- Please note that her current horn measurement is subjective - We have doubled her left horn measurement from center of skull to left horn tip and used that as a total "subjective" ttt measurement. As a 3 year old she experienced trauma to her right horn base that affected the growth of her horn on the right side. She eventually lost 13" of horn on the right side. We have followed and documented her horn growth and have confidence that she would be nearing a 98' ttt to 100' ttt cow ( February 2025 ) if she had not experienced horn damage and loss on her right side. If one closely examines her 6/1/2022 picture the shorter right horn and swollen base can be seen. Closely looking at her picture from 9/12/2020 one can see her horns are balanced and of equal length. Her pedigree supports her, she is a special daughter of "20 Gauge" and "The Foundation" our "Majestic Mermaid" who is now 102" ttt ( plus ) This girl has given us (2) beautiful daughters who are true to the "Majestic Mermaid" family tradition. "Arista" is privileged to have had her full sister "Helm Adella" (90" ttt + ) sell for $41,000 at the 2024 H/V FWSS to Webb Farms. Update: "Arista's" daughter "Helm Arissa" was the 2nd highest (tied) selling consignment at the 2025 Hudson Fort Worth Stockyard Sale on Saturday May 24th, 2025. "Arissa" was right at 80" ttt as she turned 36 months at the sale. Great Maternal Family in production and sales.
